The National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP) today released its inaugural Top LGBT+ Agent List, the real estate industry’s first recognition of top producing LGBT and allied agents and teams.
As a proud partner of NAGLREP and dedicated supporter of LGBT community members and their allies, Engel & Völkers is thrilled to congratulate Shirley Gary, Private Office advisor and license partner of Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta, for topping this year’s ranking as the #1 agent in sales volume, producing more than $70.1 million last year. Gary also ranked second in individual sides, having transacted 162 sides in 2017.
“Engel & Völkers is made up of exemplary real estate professionals who demonstrate care, kindness and leadership every day in their communities," said Anthony Hitt, president & CEO of Engel & Völkers Americas. "I’m so proud to see our advisors, both allies and members of the LGBT community, taking top spots in the inaugural NAGLREP ranking.”
Completing NAGLREP’s list of top 20 individuals in sales volume, Andy Levine of Engel & Völkers Park City ranked #4, Heidi Mueller of Engel & Völkers San Francisco ranked #12 and Julie Brodie of Engel & Völkers Tysons ranked #15.
NAGLREP, now in its 11th year, has 25 chapters around the nation and has grown to more than 2,000 members as one of the largest LGBT+ trade groups in the U.S. All sales professionals and teams ranked in the NAGLREP Top LGBT+ Agent List appeared on the 2018 REAL Trends America's Best Real Estate Professionals ratings and are ranked in the top one half of 1 percent of the more than 1.3 million Realtors® nationwide.
“NAGLREP is a bridge between the real estate and LGBT communities and we take great pride in our advocacy work and also showcasing the emotional and financial benefits of home ownership to LGBTs,” said Jeff Berger, president & CEO of NAGLREP.
